Oscar was a gorgeous "strawberry blonde" and white tom cat, who was saved from death by my father at 4 weeks old. From the day he arrived in our new home we loved him very much! my younger sister even used to put him in her toy pram and pretend he was her baby! a game he soon loved as it meant he got hours of sleep in the comfort of the pram!
although he could be a real grumpy old man sometimes we all loved him very much! my mum especially! he was definately her lil' boy!
sadly though at the begining of August he began to rapidly lose weight and become withdrawn, on august 3rd we thought we had lost him when he collapsed and couldn't breath. however he appeared to make full recovery and my parents and sisters went on there pre-planned holiday abroad. sadly 2 days after they left my beautiful cat lost his vision and began showing signs of kidney failure. with much heartache i had to make the decision to have him put down to spare his pain. i held him as it happened.
to this day i miss him dearly.
